New Call of Duty details
Details about the next game in the colossal Call of Duty franchise look set to be revealed this week. Heading over to CallofDuty.com takes you to a teaser site named “new era” which features a countdown clock that is likely to be counting down to the release of further information, possibly even a trailer for the next game.
Clicking the small white dots on the Call of Duty teaser page will take you to a selection of pages relating to private military corporations, as well as one link to the youTube video below. The video, entitled “Superpower for Hire”, seems to be a further teaser for the next game and begins stating “In the next Call of Duty, the world’s most powerful military is not a country. It’s a corporation” leading to speculation that the next game in the hugely popular series will pit you against a powerful corporation.
This latest release of information follows speculation that developer Sledgehammer Games’ next entry in the Call of Duty series could potentially be released on the next generation (PS4 and Xbox One) consoles only, with an alternative Call of Duty game for the current generation consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360). Previous reports have stated that the visuals for the next game will be a “massive” improvement over the last Call of Duty game – Ghosts released across current and next gen consoles last year.
We’ll have further information on this once the countdown clock reaches zero – stay tuned.
