Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare improvements in the works
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare may have only just hit store shelves but the development team behind the first-person shooter are already hard at work in addressing fan feedback and implementing improvements. Speaking in a Reddit post, Michael Condrey of Sledgehammer Games explained how the developer is hard at work on a number of modifications and gameplay changes and asked fans to provide further feedback. “Here are some of the polish items that we are working on (not in priority order),” said Condrey. “Would love to hear from you on other top opportunities for improvement. Please share your voice and help Advanced Warfare be the best community built game to date.”
The full list that of changes included:
- MP chat icon size and placement.
- Kill confirmed score limit
- Camo challenge tuning
- Prestige emblem reset
- Speed reload timing
- 2XP messaging
- Score mismatch when player leaves public lobby. (Doesn’t affect Combat Record)
- COD Vision team color improvements
Despite some complaints about Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and a number of moments that have raised eyebrows in the story, reception has been largely positive. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the title both hold a score on Metacritic of 83 or more, with many publications awarding the game a score 9/10. The campaign in particular has been singled out as being more involving and coherent than those in its predecessors.
