No Fallout 4 At The VGAs
As the new look Video Game Awards roll around, so did an expectation from many for Bethesda Games to announce Fallout 4. The fire that burnt that expectation has been extinguished by Bethesda via their official Twitter account, announcing that they are attending the VGAs purely to support Wolfenstein: The New Order developers Machine Games.
PSA — We’re not showing anything at the Game Awards. We’ll be there to support @MachineGames.

Fallout 4 has been highly discussed and much rumored for a long time now, with hoaxes at the same time last year suggesting that the Spike VGX awards would be when the title would be announced. It later turned out that an avid Fallout fan had tried to force Bethesda’s hand, with Bethesda unwilling to confirm Fallout 4 even exists.
Not so long ago, a rogue patent filing regarding something called Fallout: Shadow Of Boston made its way around the internet before being shot down as a fake by Bethesda, again via their official Twitter account.
It’s almost certain that one of Bethesda’s studios is working on Fallout 4, the next game in the hugely popular post-apocalyptic RPG series, although even the existence has never been confirmed by Bethesda.
Did you get excited like me when there was even the slightest chance that Fallout 4 could be announced at the VGAs? Are you as disappointed as I feel right now, or are you quietly confident Fallout 4 does exist and will be shown in good time? Let us know on the forums.
