Dinosaurs Go LEGO with LEGO Jurassic World
The dinosaurs of the Jurassic Park franchise are joining the LEGO craze with a new video game, LEGO Jurassic World. Earlier today, Warner Bros. Interactive, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Universal Partnerships & Licensing officially announced the LEGO Jurassic World video game, along with a new teaser trailer, which is available below.
The game will follow the stories of all four films in the Jurassic Park film franchise, including the upcoming sequel Jurassic World, due out on June 12. LEGO Jurassic World is scheduled for a multi-platform release for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U and Windows PC in May 2015.
Per TT Games, LEGO Jurassic World will offer players an experience where they can play as a LEGO tyrannosaurus rex, wreaking havoc on the grounds of Isla Nublar, smash LEGO Bricks and fight other dinosaurs. As previous LEGO video game releases based on existing film franchises, the game will re-imagine the stories of the films in LEGO form with the LEGO franchises’s signature brand of humor. Fans will be able to relive and play through key moments of the films and also fully explore Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna. Players will be tasked with collecting amber to find dinosaur DNA in order to create and customize various species. Dinosaurs from the previous Jurassic Park movies and Jurassic World will be playable as LEGO dinosaurs in the game.
The new announcement trailer features an amusing, LEGO style riff on one of the most iconic scenes from the classic, original Jurassic Park film.

I love the movie Jurasic World but have not really been into Legos much. Now that the Lego craze is going on I'd feel like trying out more of their games I think I have only played Star Wars Legos which was pretty good. Hope, if I do get to play this one it will be as good or better. It will be cool seeing Dinosaurs as Lego figurigs.

I liked the Star Wars Legos games but I was never interested in any other because the Bat Man one was pretty boring and that kind of made me lose interest on the rest. I might try this one out, though because I do like Jurassic Park and I'm curious about how this will be implemented.

My kids love both Lego and dinosaurs, so this is an absolute must for them. Curious that when I am reading these news I think more about my kids than myself haha, I guess they are my extension. At the same time, I might be interested in playing this too… 🙂
