Nash is Back in New Street Fighter V Trailer
Capcom and Sony PlayStation have finally revealed a new gameplay trailer for Street Fighter V, this one revealed the return of an old favorite Charlie Nash. The latest video is available below.
Nash is a fan favorite, and his history goes all the way back in Street Fighter 2, when he was referenced in the ending cutscene for Guile. Guile was on a quest for revenge against M. Bison for the loss of his friend Charlie. Capcom has confirmed that the story for Street Fighter V will address the mysteries behind Nash’s canonical disappearance, which occurred in Street Fighter Alpha II way back in 1996. Nash has been presumed dead by his friends and enemies, but he is back and clearly alive now. Judging from his appearance, he has had different body parts sown back on, making him look like some type of Frankenstein’s Monster.
Capcom also confirmed that an online beta program for Street Fighter V that will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions of the game. Players who pre-order the game in North America will automatically be enrolled into the beta program. An official release date has not yet been set, but the game is scheduled for a release on PC and an exclusive PS4 console release.
