Battlefield 4 Receiving Free Community Operations DLC Pack
Who said you can’t teach an old game some new tricks? EA and EA Digital Illusions CE officially announced that Battlefield 4, a game originally released in 2013, will receive a new free DLC pack called Community Operations. The DLC is scheduled for a release later this fall and is based off the Community Map Project that started earlier this year. After the Battlefield 4 team processed player feedback, tallied votes and worked on the new map, the Battlefield 4 Community Operations DLC pack is the result.
This will be a separate DLC pack from the upcoming Fall Update for the game. It includes the Operation Outbreak map, which was created hand-in-hand with the Battlefield community. The map will feature a dense jungle in a valley with a medical research facility, an ancient temple and a lush waterfall. The valley will have limited access and will be infantry-focused. Players will have to make use of agile vehicles, including the RHiB, quad backs and light attack vehicles.
More details and the official release date for the Battlefield 4 Community Operations DLC pack will be revealed later on. However, you can check out an early look at the new DLC in the video layer below. Battlefield 4 is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
