Boris The Vampire, 2D story driven RPG where you must find the murderer in a small town full of mystery and other-worldly events from developers Shogun Wolf Games, has landed on Steam Greenlight and gotten a Kickstarter campaign. Throughout the game, players get to delve into the mystery of Elvindale as you find yourself at the scene of a murder and you partake an investigation to prove yourself innocent while being chased down by a vampire hunter, only to face a rather mind boggling turn of events.
Who did this and why have they done it? time is your enemy as you must decide his fate. Boris The Vampire is set to have a number of features, including:
- Story Driven-Bored of the usual hack/slash/tap/click games that invest your real time with meaningless/no effect on your productivity? Well, Boris the Vampire is isn’t one of those. This game is a story driven RPG with less battle mechanics and more story-telling. We have focused most of our time here because we know stories are what captures the experiences and emotions of the players.
- You’re a vampire, on a vampire hunt!- We intended to keep the game light hearted and enjoyable. With the kind of story we have set up, we’re sure you’ll go crazy over the comedic situations our protagonist gets himself into. Of course being true to the vampire stereotype, Boris the vampire needs to feast on human blood to survive. Don’t worry though! The victim will only end up in a hospital for a few days. Don’t get caught though.
- Multiple Endings– What good game doesn’t have multiple endings? We have up to 3 different endings planned for our last episode, each one equally promising. You have our word for it.
Players will have to make crucial and important decisions that draw a path for your overall outcome. You would need to be careful of what you say, and pay attention to detail. The situation may seem hilarious in the beginning, but will slowly absorb your time as you step forward into the story. You can find Boris The Vampire on Steam Greenlight here and on Kickstarter here.
