E3 2016: Phantom Dust Revealed To Still Be Coming
At last years E3, the game Phantom Dust was revealed to be coming back via reboot. Not long after that though, the games studio, Darkside game studio, closed down, and the game seemed to be finished.
However, during Youtube’s E3 Live coverage, general manager of Xbox game publishing Shannon Loftis revealed that Phantom Dust still lives, and will still be an action-RPG/card battling hybrid title. The game will be an Xbox Play Anywhere game, and will utilize the Area feature on Xbox Live.
The game will be coming out in 2017, and the game will use the original’s assets, but has been tweaked so that players have access to a multiplayer-ready deck of cards far earlier in the game than in the 2005 version.
