Five Potential Peter Parker’s Found For Spider-Man Film?
Details are everything when it comes to superhero movies, especially when they go from one version of a character to another. The Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy tried to capture both young and adult life of Peter Parker, and all the struggles that came with it. The Amazing Spider-Man and it’s sequel tried to take a more comic-worthy approach to not only its characters, but to the story as well, which was encapsulated by the death of Gwen Stacy.
When it was announced that Marvel had FINALLY gotten the rights to put Spider-Man in one of their movies (and to help make future movies), and that Andrew Garfield wouldn’t be Peter Parker again, the question was instantly raised, who would play him?
Well, according to The Wrap, there are 5 leading contenders for the role of Peter Parker, who has been stated to be 17 when we meet him.
The five lucky candidates are: Nat Wolff, Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James.
Furthermore, it’s also being said by the Wrap that the selection won’t take much longer. In fact, we could know the potential Spider-Man in as little as ” the next 2-3 weeks”, which of course would be great, as that’ll be just after Age of Ultron hits theaters.
It’s still unknown how much Spider-Man will appear in the upcoming Phase 3 of Marvel films, or what the solo Sony/Marvel created film will be like. But with the casting of Peter Parker, the details are sure to come out eventually.
