“All-New, All-Different” Marvel Previews Show Life After Marvel’s Secret Wars
Secret Wars is in full effect. The third issue of the main series actually releases today, with several of its spinoffs beginning as well. The question remains though, what will the Marvel universe be like after this event? Yes, they’ve said it will be “All-New” and “All-Different”, but how different will it be exactly?
Well, Marvel Comics has stated that a special preview magazine coming out July 1st will show previews of what the Marvel Universe will be like after Secret Wars. This is not unlike how DC has been showing previews in its last Convergence titles showing what was coming up for them.
“This is a great way to reward fans who visit their local comic shops,” said Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel in the press release. “The comic industry has undergone a renaissance this past year, starting with the launch of the new ‘Thor’ #1 last fall. Comic shops have reported increased traffic, new customers, and higher sales. Free Comic Book Day 2015 was the biggest and best it’s ever been! We’re thrilled to say thank you by officially revealing the All New, All Different Marvel directly to those customers found in comic shops.”
Interesting. Now obviously we’ve seen some clips of what this new Marvel Universe will be like. Johnny Storm with the Inhumans, the Avengers have Ms. Marvel, Nova, and Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales), who is now somehow in the regular Marvel Universe, and more. What else is in store? We’ll find out July 1st when the “All-New, All-Different Marvel Previews” debuts.
