Phoenix Wright Finally Gets His Own Anime Series
Objection! Video game franchise star Phoenix Wright is finally the star of his own anime series, titled Ace Attorney, which debuted this weekend. The show premieres on Saturday April 2 at 4AM PST. The show will be streamed on Crunchyroll for Crunchyroll Members worldwide, excluding those in Asia.
The new show is adapted from the games and follows the rookie lawyer Naruhodo Ryuuichi (aka Phoenix Wright) and his assistant Mayoi (Maya), who defends his clients in a court of law. Naruhodo has to work with limited evidence and only logic as his best weapon in order to turn the case around when all the odds are stacked against him. The show will follow the early career of Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth, Maya Fey and more. Here’s an official synopsis for the first episode: “Adapted from the popular video game franchise, Ace Attorney follows rookie lawyer Naruhodo Ryuuichi (Phoenix Wright) and his assistant Mayoi (Maya) as he defends his clients in a court of law. With limited evidence and logic as his only weapon, can Naruhodo turn the case around when all the odds are stacked against him?”
