SDCC 2016: Agents Of Shield Reflect On Series
At SDCC, the cast and crew of ABC’s Agents of Shield took the stage and showed some behind the scenes looks at the cast and how the show comes together, including several addition tapes and runthroughs of key scenes.
They also answered a bunch of fan questions, a popular one being if Mockingbird and Hunter, who were “taken off’ the show near the end of Season 03, could come back. With the crew replying they should keep watching the show.
Another popular question was for Ming-Na when and Chloe Bennet about playing strong women in the show and being some of the key pieces. To which they replied:
“It’s a tremendous honor, and it really kind of blows my mind, because — as a mom — to have all of the fans who are young, and the older women too, and the boys too, it is an incredible experience to play a strong female character and to have that effect, and the impact of believing in yourself when you watch these characters. It’s just, especially in this day and age, Marvel does it in this heightened fashion.”
“Whenever I do go to these cons, and having that feedback, it’s the perk of a job — I’m not a policewoman… I don’t do things that save lives, but I am truly enamored with this job,” she concluded.
“I’m not surprised by how many people have appreciated it, because it’s a reflection of real life, but it hasn’t been shown on television at all,” Bennet pitched in.
Season 04 of Agents of Shield debuts September 20th. You can read the full panel breakdown here.
