Snorlax Pillow Now More Affordable
Last February Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai announced one of the greatest ideas for a pillow ever: an accurately-sized representation of the Pokemon Snorlax. But weighing in at 26.5 pounds and weighing on the wallet at $456 (plus shipping costs), it looked like only Japanese Pokefanatics would know what that giant belly truly felt like.
Good news, then: ThinkGeek is taking preorders for a Western version of that beanbag. “There’s nowhere better to relax after a long day of work, school, or just being out and about than on your Pokémon Snorlax Bean Bag Chair,” they tell us. Snorlax is 100% polyester stuffed with cotton and polyester fiber mixed with polystyrene balls.
This Snorlax is just as round and looks just as cozy, and it’s definitely lighter pricewise at $150. Best of all, it does all this while staying nearly the same size: The Japanese Snorlax is four-foot-nine while the American Snorlax is four feet. Shipping is unknown, but the website mentions a “heavy item surcharge” of just $10.
ThinkGeek is taking preorders now and will start shipping Snorlaxes this December.
