Star Wars Battlefront Players To Get Free Trials Of DLC
EA is set to allow players of Star Wars Battlefront to try out the upcoming Bespin DLC for free before its release. According to the publisher, anyone who has the game and an active Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership will be able to download a trial of the new content between the 19th and 21st of August and then again between the 12th and 18th of September.
The Bespin DLC has already been available to Season Pass owners for the past few weeks. It is the game’s second piece of downloadable content that players have had to pay to gain access to it. The 10GB update two new heroes into the mix, in the form of Lando Calrissian and the bounty hunter Dengar. The Bespin pack also added a variety of new weapons, vehicles, collectibles, and star cards with a new level cap of 70.
EA also revealed that the next two pieces of the Season Pass will be Death Star and Rogue One. The first will be based around the infamous super weapon and introduce Chewbacca and Bossk and playable heroes. Finally, the last expansion pack will link with the upcoming movie and introduce two characters from that film in the form of Jyyn Erso and Orson Krennic.
