Street Fighter V Also Gets Collector’s Edition
Not to be outdone by Square, Capcom has also announced their own Collector’s Edition for their upcoming big title (Street Fighter 5), and like Square’s Rise of the Tomb Raider limited edition, this one also comes with a statue.
The Street Fighter 5 Collector’s Edition costs $100 and comes with the following items: a 48-page hardcover art book, download codes for several Street Fighter comics, a soundtrack sampler (not the full thing? Boo), and a one-month subscription to the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel (note that every copy of the game will come with a one-month subscription to the channel). The centerpiece of the package is the 10-inch statue of Ryu in the center, which Capcom has pointed out is a work still in progress.
Street Fighter 5 is currently being beta-tested by a select number of Playstation 4 owners; you can still get a chance to test it out by preordering the game in any form. You might want to hurry, though; the beta ends September 2, and after that, you’ll have to wait until the spring of 2016, when Street Fighter 5 is currently scheduled to come out for PS4 and PC.
