X-Men: Days of Future Past Rogue Cut Arriving to Blu-ray and DVD in July
Per an announcement by Bryan Singer this week on Periscope, fans will finally get a chance to view the extended cut of the highly acclaimed comic book superhero movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past in July. Dubbed the “Rogue Cut,” this new version of the film will feature 17 minutes of additional footage. The most exciting part of the news is that fans will get to experience an excised subplot from the film involving Anna Paquin as Rogue, hence the film being considered the “Rogue Cut.” It was previously known there was a sequence in the film where Rogue is rescued from a mutant prison, and she returns to the temple where Wolverine aka Logan is to help with his time travel mission. Assuming since Rogue’s power is to absorb the abilities and powers of other mutants, she probably absorbs the powers of Kitty Pryde to give Kitty a break so the ability can continue to be used on Wolverine.
