Vampyr Delayed Until 2018 For Fine-tuning

Vampyr, Dontnod’s adventure RPG, has been delayed until 2018. The game was originally slated for release later this year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC but has been pushed back so that the team can fine-tune some parts of the game that require extra polish and balancing. According to studio head Oskar Guilbert, the delay is due to a technical issue that has only just been fixed. “Delaying the release of a project you hold dear is always a tough decision,” Guilbert said. “However, we believe that meeting a deadline should never compromise quality. We were still convinced just a few weeks ago that we would be able to release Vampyr this year. Unfortunately, a technical issue – now solved – has set our teams’ schedule back at the end of the development. “This delay allows us enough time for all the polishing and balancing phase, much needed for a game of Vampyr’s scope, with its ambitious, semi-open world, its complex narrative and deep RPG mechanics that give players

Battlefield Hardline And Dragon Age Delays Get ready to shuffle those calendars and re-arrange your holiday period games purchases as EA today announced Battlefield Hardline and Dragon Age delays. We’ll give you the bad news first – Battlefield Hardline has been delayed into Quarter 1, 2015. Batman Arkham Knight Delayed – New Game Mode Revealed

Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment today announced that Batman Arkham Knight has been delayed, as well as providing new details for the forthcoming game. Arkham Knight was originally slated for a late 2014 release on PS4, Xbox One and PC and when the first official gameplay trailer was released less than 2 weeks ago that was still the case, but in a press release from Warner Bros and DC Ent today, the release date is now slated as a vague 2015 release. It’s certainly dealt another blow for next generation games as another high profile game release misses the 2014 holiday release window following The Division & Dying Light as well as following up high profile delays for the now released Watch Dogs and the forthcoming PS4 exclusive Drive Club.
