Disney Infinity Begins Shut Down Process
Disney Infinity is to begin to shut down as Avalanche Software removes support for the game on multiple platforms. Starting from today, players will no longer be able to make in-game purchases on the PC, iOS, Android and Apple TV versions of the title, while the game will be removed from the stores on those platforms on September 30. The game will still be playable but players won’t be able to submit new Toy Boxes, buy new items or access some online features. However, the title will shut down completely on Apple TV and PC on March 3, leaving the game completely unplayable on those services. The console edition of Disney Infinity will continue to work, though online components will not function and no extra content will be able to be purchased.
