Infinite Crisis Set for Steam Launch This Month

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced that Infinite Crisis will finally get its official launch later this month. The game has been in the open beta testing phase for a number of months, but the multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game will finally have its long-awaited full debut on March 26 on Steam. Infinite Crisis, which was developed by Turbine, executive producer Jeffrey Steefel commented on the news: “Infinite Crisis has massively evolved over the past year with the help of the millions of players who participated in our Open Beta. We have designed, updated, and tuned almost every facet of the game based on player feedback and we are now ready to officially launch the game on March 26th.” Set in the DC Comics Multiverse, Infinite Crisis offers players one of the deepest rosters of playable DC heroes and villains of all time, including alternate versions of various characters including Nightmare Batman and Gaslight Catwoman. Katana Preview Released for Infinite Crisis

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that Katana is the next champion character to join the playable character roster for the free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena video game Infinite Crisis. A new Champion Unmasked preview video for Katana, featuring her backstory, abilities, attacks and techniques was also released for the game. The new video is available in the player below. Katana in the game looks to be sporting her DC New 52 look. Katana, aka Tasu Toro, was married to Maseo, who happened to be a member of the Yakuza clan called the Sword Clan. When Maseo was confronted by his twin brother, Takeo, Maseo was killed in the struggle by the Soultaker sword, a blade which is said to contain the souls of those it has killed. Seeing her husband murdered, Tatsu ran away. She later took up the Soultaker sword and swore revenge against Takeo, the Yakuza and criminals everywhere. She goes by the name katana in honor of her sword, which she thinks holds the soul of her

Hawkgirl Preview Released for Infinite Crisis

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that Hawkgirl will be joining the playable character roster for the free-to-play multiplayer online battle arena video game Infinite Crisis. In addition, a new Champion Unmasked video showcasing Hawkgirl’s backstory, abilities, attacks and techniques for the game was released and is available in the player below. In the DC Comics, Kendra Saunders was a police officer who’s father was previously murdered by a corrupt cop. As an officer herself, Saunders thought she was held back by the rules and regulations of the job. When she was put on disciplinary suspension after breaking the rules, she met the hero Hawkman, who told her that she was reincarnated Egyptian princess. According to Hawkman the two were lovers in previous lives. She thought he was insane wanted him to leave her alone. Hawkman left, but not before insisting she took a mace, flight harness and keepsakes of her past life. As time passed, she realized as a hero vigilante, she could do things that a police officer could not.
