Rocko And Invader Zim TV Movies Acquired By Netflix
It was revealed today that the TV movies Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling and Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus, previously produced for Nickelodeon, have been sold to Netflix. Why is this big news? Because unlike Nickelodeon, Netflix might actually make these movies available. Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling joins the wallaby, cow and turtle where the show last left them in 1996: stranded in space. Having finally returned to Earth, Heffer and Filburt are overjoyed by all the advances in technology…..but Rocko, being Rocko, is cautious and nervous about it all. Static Cling has been complete for over a year and has done nothing but gather dust on the Nick shelf.
