If you are a fan of Marvel and LittleBigPlanet, there are only a few days left to purchase the Marvel DLC packs for the LittleBigPlanet series. According to a post on the LittleBigPlanet official website, the Marvel DLC packs are going to be pulled from the PlayStation Store on December 31. That means players have only have five more days to buy the Level Packs and Costumes based on their favorite Marvel characters for games in the series. However, while the DLC packs are going away, they will be on sale. In addition, the LittleBigPlanet website announced the Marvel Mega Pack, which will be on sale for $3.29 each. This is an exclusive new pack that features the Marvel Level Kit and all six Marvel Costume Packs for a grand total of 30 Marvel Costumes for the Sackboys and Sackgirls. 2011 has been a fantastic year for gaming, with developers showing that they really know how to take advantage of the PS3 and Xbox 360; dishing out games with both quality and innovation. As the year comes to a close, lots of gaming websites will begin picking their choices for the best game of the year, and while many games will be nominated, very few will actually walk away with this coveted award. Like the title says, I believe that all (well, most) of the games below are very good, and have a chance of being nominated for Game of the Year, and on some web-sites/media, may even win. Yesterday we reported that FieldRunners HD would be arriving to the Android Marketplace for free. Unfortunately, due to some restrictions on the Android Marketplace the title will now be 99c for the first 24 hours. You can find the full updated press release after the break. FIELDRUNNERS HD, an updated version of the critically acclaimed Tower Defense game developed by Subatomic Studios, will be available in the Android Market this coming Thursday, June 30th.  Fans will be able to download the full version of the game at a discounted rate of $0.99 during the first 24 hours, after which the game will be available at its standard price of $2.99.
