New Games, Including Oblivion, Become Backwards Compatible
Several additional Xbox 360 titles are making their way to the Xbox One as they have become backwards compatible. Microsoft’s Major Nelson has revealed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Trine 2, and Astropop have all been certified so that they can be played on the latest console as long as you own either a digital copy of the game or the original disc. Microsoft first announced that the Xbox One would be able to player previous generation games back at E3 2015. The full list of available games, which is available to view here, now stands at almost 300 titles.
