Irish West who is The Flash’s love interest was originally going to be played by another actress but it ended with Kiersey Clemons. It will also be the final movie where we will see Ben Affleck as Batman. Michael Keaton‘s Batman will also be in the film. We all know now that a new actor will be getting the role. Sasha Calle is supposed to debut as Supergirl in this movie but this could be her last as James Gunn will be recasting. It will be the catalyst for a Universe Reset. If things had gone according to plan, we might not have seen Supergirl until Superman And Lois finished its first season run — possibly late spring, early summer, But fortunately, thanks to a COVID scare on the Superman set (I mean, it sucks to be whoever that was, but…), we get Supergirl early! A few episodes from the sixth season will debut in March and April to fill the gap in production from the other show. This is the last season of Supergirl. We’re gonna miss Melissa Benoist, even if she wasn’t always given the best material to work with. The production of Supergirl has been a mess, with laughable plot twists and disappearing characters aplenty (and don’t get us started on that tedious “lying” subplot between Kara and Lena). But there’s an appeal to Supergirl that Superman lacks…Kara’s just not as stiff as Clark is. Benoist showing up on a future season of S&L would be lovely…though we don’t know at this time what her final fate will be.

Every season, the costume department of The CW’s Supergirl makes a few new tweaks to Supergirl’s costume. Star Melissa Benoist posted their latest design to her Instagram account today. The CW revealed a few more details about their next DC superhero crossover today, and they have us wondering if the story being told may not even be canon. We’ve learned the Monitor will actually play a role in the story. This was a central character in DC’s 1985 Crisis on Infinite Earths miniseries — a story meant to consolidate decades of tangled continuity. By the mid-80s DC was dealing with multiple dimensions of parallel Earths created by generations of writers who each had to bend the rules to tell their own stories. Crisis mashed everything back into one dimension and rebooted the DC universe. (It’s worth noting that many of the decisions made by Crisis have since been undone….the only permanent rule about comics is that NO rule is permanent.) You’ll never guess who’s playing Lois Lane in this year’s big CW superhero crossover. Unless you already read it on another site. This morning the network revealed Bitsie Tulloch had landed the role of Superman’s girlfriend. She now joins a long lineage of Loises including Margot Kidder, Teri Hatcher, Erica Durance and Dana Delany. Fans of genre television, who probably watch the shows in CW’s lineup regularly, are already familiar with Tulloch due to her regular appearances on NBC’s Grimm. The CW dumped a lot of images from its DC superhero lineup today, and TV Line published them exclusively. Sadly, we don’t see anything here related to Legends of Tomorrow, possibly because it premieres a week after everything else. But we’ve got lots of tights to look at today, and even some pink hair. This is Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen, the future organic combination of Barry and Iris’s DNA. She’s here in the present because she messed up time and needs their help in fixing it. Earlier this year, during the upfronts for the CW, Arrow star Stephen Amell came out and revealed that Batwoman would be coming to the Arrowverse via a three-part crossover between Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. A crossover that would take them to Gotham City. Since then, fans have been eager for more and more details about the arrival of Kate Kane. And not only is there a series apparently being prepared for her, we now know that it will be none other than Ruby Rose playing her. And now, we know exactly when the three-part crossover will debut.
