Total War: Three Kingdoms, the latest installment in Sega’s hit historical strategy series, gets a slice of new content next month. Today Sega released a description of its plot, and the official trailer. The Eight Princes is a standalone campaign for the game that takes place immediately after the main storyline. The title is true to its word — you get eight princes to play as, each one differing in play styles and available units. The year is 291 CE, and the Jin Dynasty is divided. A generation has passed since the tumultuous events of the Three Kingdoms period began. Despite the brief unification of the kingdoms under the Jin dynasty, civil war was never more than a heartbeat away.
