Heroes of the Storm brings characters from all the major Blizzard franchises together for epic fights and wars. But now, one of the greatest threats to the Nexus has come. Straight from World of Warcraft, it’s Kel’thuzad. This assassin character has some very interesting abilities, and what’s more, Kel’thuzad will be featured in an event for Heroes of the Storm. Nothing official has been announced as of yet in regards to a release date, but there’s rumors that it’ll be soon, and that we’ll find out more soon. Blizzard Entertainment has announced the creation of a book-publishing label, Blizzard Publishing, dedicated to developing and releasing new Blizzard publications and reissuing out-of-print titles in the company’s Warcraft®, StarCraft®, and Diablo® settings, directly and through ongoing global partnerships. Each of Blizzard’s game universes has been inhabited by millions of players worldwide, and Blizzard Publishing will help maintain the lore and legacy of the company’s earliest novels and manga while also providing a variety of new ways for people to engage with Blizzard’s rich worlds and characters. You Can Now Stream Blizzard Games On Facebook

It is now possible for those playing any of Blizzard Entertainment’s modern titles to stream their footage directly to Facebook. The news means that users will be able to share their gameplay with their friends using Facebook Live, in an exclusive arrangement between the two companies. The arrangements, which was first announced in June, also gives players the chance to use their Facebook account details to sign up and play games such as Overwatch, rather than having to create a brand new Battle.net account. Unfortunately, the service is not available in all territories. Only those in the Americas, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand can take part – though the publisher has said it is working to bring streaming to other locations as soon as possible.

The sequel to Dark Horse and Blizzard Entertainments popular World of Warcraft series is getting a sequel. Announced at SDCC, World of Warcraft Chronicle Vol.2 will delve deeper into the world of Azeroth, and will be released in 2017. The title will continue to explore the history and makeup of this rich fantasy universe. The first volume focused on the birth of the Warcraft universe and the ancient wars that shaped it thousands of years before the rise of the Alliance and the Horde. World of Warcraft Chronicle Vol. 2 will feature original art from a variety of artists, including Peter Lee, Joseph Lacroix and Alex Horley.

World of Warcraft: Legion is getting some big changes to it’s PVP gameplay, as experienced players will now be given “Honor Points”, which will allow you to gain special rewards, including gold, Artifacts, and “Honor Talent”. Battle.net describes this new ability: “Honor Talents are a special set of Talents that are only active when a player is in a PvP instance (such as a Battleground or Arena) or otherwise engaged in PvP combat, and work in addition to your normal Talents. They are unlocked, one at a time, as your Honor Level increases. For video games, it was once believed that MMO games would be the true wave of the future, spurred on by the original Everquest and the legendary World of Warcraft. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will support crossplay and contain all of the same features that are on the versions currently available on PC, Mac and tablets. Lead designer Eric Dodds has revealed in an interview with Gamespot that smartphone users will experience the same game as other players and will be able to compete with others who are using any other version of the game. “It will be your exact same account, so all your cards on tablet or PC will be available on your phone too. You start a match on a phone, you could be playing someone on another phone, someone on a tablet, on a PC, who knows? It’s all one big ecosystem.” He also moved to ease fears that the game would be a huge drain on the battery of smartphones, limiting the ability of users to play it regularly. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now available on Android devices. A limited release in countries such as Canada and Australia was made available earlier in the week, but the title is now available on Android devices worldwide. Unfortunately, much like the iOS version of the game, it is currently only available on tablets. Users will need a device with a screen size of at least 6-inches in order to download the game from the Play Store. Blizzard have made it clear though that they are working on smartphone versions of Hearthstone and hope to have them out by early next year. The developer of the World of Warcraft spinoff have previously stated that the delay in releasing on smartphone and other smaller platforms was due to problems in getting all of the content and gameplay features to display and work correctly on a wide variety of smaller screens. While this is frustrating for those who want to be able to play Hearthstone on the move, at least Blizzard are taking

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft’s first expansion will bring with it more than 100 additional cards. The card game, based on the World of Warcraft universe, already has around 500 different cards but Blizzard wants to ensure that users do not get bored with Hearthstone due to a slow pace in releasing new content. In an interview with Polygon Jason Chayes, production director for Hearthstone, explained what they are planning with the new expansion. “I think we’re going to mix it up a little bit with this next release, which will be our first expansion,” Chayes said. “It will have a lot more cards. We’re talking about more than 100. We are going to have a central theme for how that will all fit together. That’ll be the next thing coming up.” While Chayes did not give a release date for the expansion he did reveal that information about it would be released in the near future. The best bet would be that an announcement could come at this year’s BlizzCon
