The Good Dinosaur: New Trailer Released for Pixar’s Next Feature
Disney and Pixar have released the latest full trailer for Pixar’s next upcoming CG animated feature The Good Dinosaur. You can check out the new trailer in the player below.
The new video offers a better look at the story, since it has gone through some significant changes after the project’s initial reveal at D23 2013. It seems the basic premise of the story has changed. This is a world where dinosaurs never went instinct after a comet struck the earth. An Apatosaurus then befriends a feral human child. Those elements have changed, but it looks like the main Apatosaurus character, Arlo (voiced by Raymond Ochoa), has been made into a much younger dinosaur who is separated from his pack and becomes lost in the wilderness. He then meets and befriends a young human child, and the the form an unlikely friendship. Originally, Arlo was going to be older, and he would come from a family of dinosaur farmers. That scenario has been jettisoned from the film. The new film from director Peter Sohn explores the power of friendship, and Arlo must confront his fears to discover what he is truly capable of.
The Good Dinosaur arrives in theaters on November 25.
