The Sides of Civil War Have Been Revealed
There’s been a question that’s been tied to Marvel’s Civil War since the comic first came out roughly a decade ago, the simple statement of “Who’s Side Are You On?”
Now, with a movie following a similar theme as the comic (though to be far not quite as grand in scale, not enough heroes and villains revealed and all that) the question has once again popped up. Who’s side will everyone be on in the Civil War? True, some have been guessed, some have been teased, and some have been spoiled, but there hasn’t been a complete confirmation yet. Until now.
Hawkeye himself Jeremy Renner tweeted out some concept art pics from the movie, the main one you can see above. And it clearly depicts who is on who’s side in the Civil War.
For Captain America, he has Falcon, Winter Soldier, Hawkeye,Agent 13, and Ant-Man on his team. While Iron Man has War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Vision.
The big surprise here in my opinion is Black Panther and Vision. The former we knew would be in the film, but not to what capacity. For him to be on Iron Man’s side? This could be a big setup for his solo film in Phase 3. Then there’s Vision, who was created in Age of Ultron. I find it interesting he’s taking a side at all, as he seemed to be above such things. Maybe he finds a compelling reason with Stark, we’ll have to see.
Now that the sides are clear, the real fun and speculation can begin as we head towards the May 6th, 2016.
