What’s The Vision’s Role in Civil War?
The Russo Brothers have been doing the rounds to spread the good word about their upcoming film Captain America: Civil War, and in the process, they’re unveiling little details and tidbits about the characters that’ll make this Civil War something very special.
One of the characters that’s leaving fans questioning what is going on is The Vision, a character that was only recently introduced in the movies via Age of Ultron. As he hasn’t been alive for very long, versus where he was in his life when Civil War happened in the comics, many are intrigued that he’s taking a side at all. Trailers put him with Tony Stark on Team Iron Man, and yet, in the comics, he was with Steve Rogers on Team Captain America. So which is true?
In an interview with Sina Entertainment, translated by ComicBook.com, Joe Russo notes:
“Vision is a captivating character, and he does play a critical role in the Civil War,” Joe Russo told Sina Entertainment. “The comic fans might be able to guess what he is going to do.”
For those wondering, in the comic version of Civil War, Vision played an integral role in the final battle between Iron Man and Captain America. In fact, he disabled the Iron Man armor, allowing Steve to beat up Tony. Will that happen here? We’ll find out May 6th, 2016.
