Atomik: RunGunJumpGun has Arrived On Switch
The Nintendo Switch has been a major boon for indie developers. Many have found great success on the Switch, even outselling other versions of the game despite them being out longer and having a larger player base. Now, a new indie title has come to Switch. It’s called Atomik: RunGunJumpGun, and it should have your attention:
“Good Shepherd Entertainment and independent developer ThirtyThree have launched ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun on Nintendo Switch™. This original, tough-as-nails, hyperkinetic action platformer is available today for $7.99 through the Nintendo eShop. A twisted space-opera full of bizarre characters and pulp sci-fi storytelling, ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGunbursts off the screen with colorful, neon-infused visuals and a beat-dropping synth soundtrack.
ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun’s retro 2D automatic runner gameplay is all about one very big gravity-defying gun with two-button controls: one to fly up, the other to blast forward through obstacles and death traps at breakneck speed. There are over 120 levels of meticulous mayhem to master, with unique challenges that demand quick thinking and reflexes to survive.
The Switch edition of ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun features the new Shield Mode, which empowers players with an energy shield and decreases overall movement speed to make the game’s intense action more manageable, but no less heart-pounding and exciting.”
