In the new action game, players will be able to take on the role of Eren Jaeger and his powerful Titan form to do battle with the nasty creatures. When Eren transforms into his Titan mode, his ODM gear and blades are replaced with fists. The new trailer showcases this gameplay in action, showing Eren’s chaotic transformation and the other playable characters in the game. For Attack on Titan, players will be able to play as Eren, Mikasa and Armin, with the story being set throughout the timeline of the first season of the game. In the youth of the three young heroes, a massive Titan breaks down one fo the outer walls and humanity’s peace is threatened.
The new screenshots also offer a look at the evacuated streets of the Stohess District to the open plains that are outside of the walls. There’s also a look at some of the rest of the action in the game in various locations.
Attack on Titan arrives on August 30. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC via steam. It’s also scheduled as a digital-only release for PlayStation Vita.
