Avengers: Infinity War Will Be The Longest Marvel Movie To Date
Packing every Marvel superhero that exists in the Cinematic Universe into one film won’t be easy — and the result won’t be short. The website Dark Horizons did some digging with AMC and found the published runtime for Avengers: Infinity War rests at 156 minutes, or two hours and 36 minutes.
Last summer Joe Russo, co-director of Infinity War, said the film was being edited at that time and the current cut was even longer, but the goal was to reduce it to the 2 1/2 hour range. They appear to have barely reached it, though it’s preferable to the bladder-busting three-hour runtimes of DC’s super-movie spectacles.
Previously, the longest Marvel movie was Captain America: Civil War at 148 minutes, followed by both previous Avengers films at 141 minutes each. The current hit Black Panther is a lean 2 hours and 12 minutes.
Based on the classic Marvel comic The Infinity Gauntlet, Infinity War concerns an alien dictator named Thanos who plans to acquire all the Infinity Stones (strategically introduced in previous films) and become an unstoppable god through their power. Be prepared for some major losses — this story will take two movies to tell and the end result will be a reset of the MCU.
Avengers: Infinity War comes out April 27 in theaters everywhere.

I agree with that article. Marvel heroes are connected to each other heroes the only difference is the state they were living in. I think they will also make a movie with a combination of DC heroes.

Spider-Man is a given, unless Sony says “nah, we want to go for Reboot #4.”
I’m a little worried they’re going to be tone-deaf enough to fridge Black Widow.
