Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition Set for August
BadLand Games and Thomas Happ Games officially announced today the new release, Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition. You can check out the new announcement trailer for the upcoming Multiverse Edition in the player below. The new version of Axiom Verge will be available for the Nintendo Switch, Wii U, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
This will be a new special edition for Axiom Verge that includes a lot of extra in-box content for gamers. This includes a new 2 Player Productions documentary about the making of the game and Thomas Happ. There is also a copy of the game and a deluxe booklet with developer commentary, art and a double-sided poster. If players pre-order before release, they will also receive the game’s original CD soundtrack too.
Speaking on the announcement in an official press release, Thomas Happ stated: “People often asked me about the early days of Axiom Verge – about how I was able to make a game completely on my own over the course of five years of evenings and weekends while holding down a full time job. The long-form documentary format really made it possible for me to take the time and explain that process as well as go into some detail about the difficulties of balancing work and family responsibilities.”
The Axiom Verge: Multiverse Edition will be available in August 2017. The final release date will be announced later on. The Multiverse Edition will be priced at $29.99 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Wii U. The Switch version will cost $39.99.
