Batman Arkham Knight: 1989 Movie Batmobile and Bat-Family Skins Packs Announced
On the heels of the release of the first major story DLC content release for Batman Arkham Knight, Batgirl: A Matter of Family, Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios announced some new DLC details for the hit video game. This includes new a new skin pack and a new Batmobile pack that are due out later next month, including one that has been highly requested by fans.
August will see the release of the 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack. This is huge as it has been a highly requested piece of DLC from fans ever since the Batmobile was first announced as being included as a playable element in the game. Now fans have their with. The new pack includes a skin of Batman with his costume from the 1989 Batman movie directed by Tim Burton. In addition, the Batmobile will be completely transformed into the version from that aforementioned film. The new image of the pack by WB shows that the Batmobile will actually be transformed into the 1989 movie Batmobile. This is unlike the 1960s Batman TV series Batmobile skin that only changed the color scheme of the vehicle slightly. Fans will finally be able to drive around the 1989 Batmobile around Gotham City in one of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham video games. The 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack also includes two new tracks that are said to be inspired by Batman Returns.
August will also see the Bat-family Skins Pack. This includes six character skins of alternate timelines, including: 1990s Catwoman; One Year Later Robin, Arkham Origins Batman, Iconic Grey & Black Batman, 1970s Batman; and the Arkham City version of Nightwing.
