Batman: Arkham Knight PC Version Might Not be Fixed Until September
The ongoing saga of the Batman: Arkham Knight PC version continues. In case you somehow didn’t know, despite Arkham Knight being the final game in Rocksteady’s Arkham series, the PC version of the game was so incredibly bug-riddled that it could not be played by a vast majority of those who purchased it. This caused fan complaints, which led to WB Interactive pulling the PC version of the game from sales outlets both physical and digital, and the claim that WB would work on fixing it as soon as possible. This would be their “top priority”.
As we near the one month mark since Arkham Knight’s release, we may have a clue as to when we can actually expect the patch. Kotaku Australia has claimed to see an email sent to EB Game stating the following:
“As previously advised, we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released.”
Before you panic, Spring in Australia is fall here, which means it’ll arrive no sooner than September if the email is accurate, with November being the “latest” it could arrive. However, will that definitely be the case, and will it work right away? That’s the question many PC gamers are asking right now.
