Battlefield 1: New Video for Single-Player Campaign Released
The march to the release of Battlefield 1 continues on. Electronic Arts and DICE released a new trailer this week for Battlefield 1. The latest video showcases the game’s very intense looking single-player campaign. You can check out the video, which features new gameplay footage, in the player below.
This game marks a major change for the series as it goes back in time to The Great War aka World War I. This is the first time the Battlefield series has entered such territory. There have been Battlefield games set during World War II, the Vietnam War, and more contemporary war setting. Even Battlefield Hardline dealt with cops, criminals and drug cartels. But this is something that’s actually completely new and different for the franchise.
While the game will have a huge multiplayer campaign, complete with 64-player online battles, it’s nice to see it will still have a dedicated single-player campaign as well. So far, it’s looking impressive. The Frostbite visuals look very impressive and overall stunning. Hopefully, the final product lives up to what’s been shown so far. This could be one of the best Battlefield gaming experiences of all time.
Battlefield 1 arrives on October 21. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
