Battlefield Hardline Gets a Live Action Heist Trailer
Just in time for tomorrow’s launch of Battlefield Hardline, Electronic Arts has released a new live-action heist trailer for Battlefield Hardline. The new video, entitled “The Heist,” is available in the player below.
The live-action short was shot in a 360 degree perspective from the point-of-view of the loot in a bank heist. The crooks make off with the loot and are then given chase by the police in a daring action set piece. The money switches from one getaway ride to another, and then an officer makes a jump from a chopper into the getaway car to apprehend the thugs. Just as the SWAT officer halts the thugs and the getaway vehicle, he examines the scene and then picks up a pile of the stolen cash…and then pockets him for himself. It seems even the world of Battlefield Hardline, there will definitely be an exploration of police corruption.
In addition to the trailer version, Electronic Arts has created a fully interactive, 360 degree version of “The Heist” that is available HERE. You can watch the complete heist from start to finish and change the camera angle of the actual heist at any time as a result of how the film was shot using the Jo panoramic camera from Kogeto.
Battlefield Hardline is due out tomorrow (March 17) for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Windows PC.
