Brawlout Hits Steam Early Access
Angry Mob Games announced this week that the competitive fighting game Brawlout is available now on Steam Early Access. You can also check out a new launch trailer in the player below.
The game features a mix of platform fighter mechanics and traditional fighting game moves and pacing. Brawlout’s fighting system is based on fluid movement and insane combos. The game also features four-player combat and tournaments.
Speaking on the launch in a press release, Angry Mob Games CEO Bogdan Iliesiu stated: “Brawlout is a fast-paced animated brawler that brings a fresh take on the competitive beat-em up genre, regardless if you want to play home alone, on a couch with friends or go online to compete in tournaments. The launch on Steam Early Access is only the first stage in building the Brawlout universe, as in future updates we plan to release a story campaign and single-player challenges, along with more characters, gameplay features and other surprises.”
The game launched with six fighters for the roster. Players can take part in online and local battles, and also local multiplayer battles are also available. The game also has timed, stock or team battles. With combat, fighting builds the Rage Meter, which players can then use to unleash powerful attacks. Players can use powerful projectiles or long-range whip attacks. These attacks can then evolve in the gameplay for further combo options and advanced moves.
Players can check out Brawlout on Steam Early Access for $19.99. It’s due out later this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q3 2017.
