Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare to Feature Conor McGregor
Activision and Infinity War this week announced that UFC fighter and featherweight character Conor McGregor will be a featured character in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. A new story trailer was also released for the game, which you can check out in the player below. This will mark a new chapter for the game, as the franchise continues to venture more in the futuristic and sci-fi realm. However, this game also takes gamers into the vast reaches of space and the solar system.
Here’s an official story description for the game:
After a simultaneous surprise attack on UNSA forces in Geneva and the Moon Gateway port, Lt. Nick Reyes must take the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth’s last remaining warships. In a time of unthinkable adversity, Reyes must lead his trusted crew against the relentless Settlement Defense Front’s plans to dominate all who oppose them.
The new trailer gives a look at the first in-game footage featuring Kit Harington as the game’s villain, Admiral Salen Kotch of the Settlement Defense Front. There’s also footage of UFC’s Conor McGregor, who portrays Captain Bradley Fillion, who also works for the SDF.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare hits the shelves on November 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Players who pre-order the game will get early access to the Infinite Warfare Multiplayer Beta, which kicks off on October 14.
