Capcom amends Resident Evil 6 release date
Expecting Resident Evil 6 to ship on November 20th? Yeah, so were we until we saw the latest trailer for Capcom’s upcoming survival horror title…
The concluding seconds of the newly-distributed three minute-long video confirm RE6 will now hit stores on October 2nd. As a result, the game’s launch will no longer clash with release windows for some of 2012’s most-anticipated IPs, such as Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed III, 2K Games’ BioShock Infinite, Activision’s Black Ops 2 and EA’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter.
As per standard practice, we’ve embedded the trailer in question below for you to view. However, it is our duty to point out that it does contain quite a few spoilers. You have been warned.

Looking better than RE5, that’s for sure.

I’m not going to lie; I loved RE5. True, more action than survival horror, but the package IMO was excellent. Decent (if superfluous) plot, great gameplay, impressive visuals, loads of replayability…
RE5 is the reason I’m psyched for RE6. Really liking the new gameplay changes and the darker, scarier approach to the narrative. Pre-ordered.
