CarousHELL Strikes In 2019
The description of the plot in CarousHELL, an upcoming horror thriller from Wild Eye Releasing, is short but sweet. Pretty much everything you need to know can be expressed with two words: “killer unicorn.”
In fact, it’s ceramic. The unicorn is part of a carousel, and gains sentience one day. He grows to despise those who take rides on him, one abusive child in particular. When the unicorn finally breaks free from the carousel, he goes on a murderous rampage — and he’s headed for that kid!
CarousHELL stars Steve Rimpici, Sé Marie and Haley Madison, and was directed by Steve Rudzinski. When you look at Rudzkinski’s past record, the existence of CarousHELL makes sense: he’s created movies with titles like Red Christmas, Captain Z & the Terror of Leviathan and Everyone Must Die! Our favorite is that last one.
We can’t give you a specific release date yet, but CarousHELL is scheduled for release sometime in 2019. Note: if you must have something about a killer unicorn earlier than this, we’re told another murderous mare will be the center focus of a Legends of Tomorrow episode, which could possibly air this fall. We hope.
Based on a script by Rudzinski and Aleen Isley, the horror/comedy tells of a sentient carousel unicorn that gets pushed too far by a brat. The unicorn breaks free of his spinning prison to go on a revenge-driven murder spree on his way to kill the kid.
