Coco: New Trailer for Pixar’s Next Film
Walt Disney Studios and Pixar today released the newest trailer for the next upcoming Pixar CG animated feature, Coco. You can check out the new trailer for Coco in the player below. The film is due out in theaters later this November.
The new film is inspired by by El Dia de los Muertoes, or the Day of the Dead, a cherished Mexican holiday. in the film, Miguel (Anthony Gonzales) seeks to become an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). While trying to prove how talented he is, Miguel is ultimately transported to the colorful Land of the Dead after an enigmatic chain of events. He soon meets a trickster named Hector (Gael Garcia Bernal). Together, they go off on a journey to find the true story of Miguel’s family history.
The style looks cool and very unique, even for a Pixar film. This looks like it very well could be Pixar’s next masterpiece. Coco is directed by Toy Story 3 co-director Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina. The film is produced by Darla K. Anderson. It will hit theaters on November 22 in the US in 3D.
