All is right with the world now that DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is running new episodes again. The series about D-list DC superheroes teaming up to fix time discrepancies (and sometimes create them) is arguably the highlight of The CW’s DC lineup, with its light breezy tone and chemistry between the characters. Let me put it this way…LoT is the only show of its brand where I can watch an entire episode without ever thinking a subplot is wasting my time or a particular character is a drag.
One of the more interesting surprises in the DC TV universe has been the resurrection of John Constantine from his one-season NBC program. The same character, played by the same actor, was reintroduced in the fourth season of Arrow when he brought Sara Lance back to life. Eventually Lance became the captain of the Waverider on LoT, and this week she returned the favor to Constantine by letting him guest-star on the series.
But now we’re hearing this won’t be the only time Constantine will show up! And we don’t mean an appearance next season….we mean another appearance THIS season! Set photos have been appearing on Instagram of future episodes being filmed, and in one of the shots you can see what appears to be Matt Ryan, Constantine’s actor, in the background.
Comicbook.com looked into it and contacted Warner Bros. Television, who confirmed to the site that Constantine will be in another episode five weeks from now. Specifically Episode 15, “Necromancing the Stone.” If there’s necromancy to be done, John Constantine’s the one.
