Deadpool Creator Has a Surprise for SDCC Attendees
San Diego Comic Con is coming up fast, and we’re already getting news about what’s happening right now. As one of the biggest Comic-Con’s in the country, there’s all sorts of epic things going on. Thanks to the creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld, we have one more cool thing happening. Liefeld has told Comicbook.com that to celebrate the 24th anniversary of his character, he created 24 sketches of Deadpool, and he will be hiding them on the floor of San Diego Comic Con.
“I’m celebrating the big, huge 24th year that Deadpool is having by hiding 24 Deadpool drawings in all shapes and sizes all over the greater comic con staging area,” Liefeld tells ComicBook.com. “This extends from the convention center to the Gaslamp and surrounding restaurants. Also at the various parties I’ll be attending. I want to give something back to the tremendous fan following Deadpool has had since I introduced him in the pages of New Mutants #98!”
So, aside from just randomly looking everywhere at SDCC, how can you find these sketches? Easy, follow Liefeld on Twitter and Instagram, where he’ll post clues about where to find these pieces of art. San Diego Comic Con is July 9th-12, if you’re going there, be sure to be on the lookout for Deadpool pics!
