Deadpool: New TV Spot for The Bachelor Debuts Online
There was a time some years ago when it seemed the boat on a Deadpool movie had sailed. The wait for the movie was almost never ending. For whatever reason, the film just couldn’t get off the ground. Now it’s 2016, and the Deadpool movie is finally just weeks away. Better late than never one supposes. As of today, 20th Century Fox has released a new extended TV spot for the film that was also featured on TV’s The Bachelor reality series, with a special unique and hilarious, new introduction by the Merc With a Mouth himself. You can check out the new video in the player below.
The new TV spot emphasizes the relationship between Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and his girlfriend in the film, Vanessa (Morena Baccarin). Of course, it seems Vanessa was his girl before his transformation into a gun-toting antihero. And it appears the organization behind that transformation eventually sees fit to kidnap Vanessa to get to Deadpool.
The Marvel Comics adaptation finally hits theaters on February 12.
Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
