Deathgarden Enters Closed Beta Testing This Week
Deathgarden is the name of an upcoming multiplayer action game where one player assumes the role of the all-powerful Hunter, and five others play as Runners who must elude the Hunter. If that sounds like fun, you’ve got a chance to try it out for free: the game will be beta-tested for one week starting today.
So how do you get it? By going to deathgardengame.com. and requesting a beta key. Keep in mind the testing is selective and you may not get in — but then again, you might. Developer Behaviour Digital already gave the game its first test in alpha form, and if you were one of the few alpha testers, you’re guaranteed access to the beta. But you most likely are not. There’s another way.
If you preorder the game before that point, you’ll be bumped up to the Deluxe Edition at no extra cost, which includes guaranteed access to the beta, exclusive Origin cosmetics sets, a digital game soundtrack, and a digital art book At present, Behaviour Digital plans to sell the game for $29.99.
Deathgarden will become available to the general public this August when Behaviour Digital launches it on Steam Early Access. “The goal of this final phase prior to the official release is to establish the post-launch content delivery cadence while better integrating community feedback and implementing further improvements,” explained Matt Jackson, Design Director.
The beta test of Deathgarden began June 19 at 3pm ET and will last until June 26 at 9am ET
