There’s a fun bit of dialogue exchanged in the video between Doctor Strange and the film’s chief villain, Kaecilius, who is played by Mads Mikkelsen. There’s also more of Stephen Strange’s backstory, and showing his life before his car accident. There’s also a clip of Wong talking about the work of the sorcerers, commenting that the Avengers protect the world from physical dangers, and the sorcerers protect the world from “more mystical threats.”
Also, it’s probably no surprise, but Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch confirmed he will be reprising his role in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel, which is due out in 2018. He revealed the tidbit speaking to Empire Magazine (via Express UK).
Cumberbatch stated on the next Avengers movie, “To get us all together will be quite something. That’s why this character is being introduced, to open up the next chapter… So watch this space to see how that unfolds.”
