Dragon Quest X hits the Wii U on March 30
Square Enix has Officially confirmed the release date of the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X, which is slated for a release of March 30.
The top charting MMORPG has the same basic content as the Wii version, with the Wii U game featuring HD graphics the option to play the game on the Wii U GamePad. According to Siliconera, Dragon Quest X will retail for 6,980 Yen ($75) and will include a ticket for 20 days of online play.
A Dragon Quest X hard ware bundle, thanks to Nintendo, will include a Wii U premium set (32 GB Console and a point system for digital games) Dragon Quest X for the Wii U, a black pro Controller, a Nintendo prepaid card (worth 1,000 Yen), And five super health orbs for 42,000 Yen ($452).
The Wii U premium set will have an invitation to the Dragon Quest X beta in Japan, in place of the usual Nintendo Land bundle, the beta starts March 6.
Nintendo will be dishing out a new Dragon Quest X prepaid card, which will be worth 3,000 Yen, in japan. And if you pick up the game from Square Enix , you get a pair of round spectacles to equip to your character. Still no word on a release outside of Japan, but with the Wii U version just around the corner, it may be safe to say, it’s rather early to hear anything from Square Enix or Nintendo.
