Dying Light: Countryside Region Is Showcased
One of the major features for the upcoming major expansion for the first-person, zombie survival game, Dying Light, will be a new region for players to explore. Techland has finally released some new information with a gameplay video featuring some new footage for the Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition. You can check out the new “Exploration” trailer, which showcases the new region for The Following expansion in the player below. This offers a better look at some of the new locations for the DLC.
According to Techland, the new region featured in The Following is more than twice the size as the original game. That’s a pretty lofty and ambitious claim. The new region in The Following now has a name. It’s been dubbed “Countryside,” and it will feature new characters, enemies, side quests, environments, locations and secrets.
Speaking on the Countryside region, producer Tymon Smektala stated: “We made sure the new region is full of diverse environments that allow for both driving and free-running. We’ve added lots of little details that tell various apocalyptic stories if you look closely, and placed rewarding secrets for the most inquisitive. We’re also proud to confirm that despite the much bigger map and many visual enhancements, the system requirements for PC players remain exactly the same.”
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition arrives on February 9 for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be available as a physical disc release or a digital download. Players who already have the base version of the game will be able to buy the expansion The Following individually as DLC.
