E3 2016: Gwent Gets Solo Game
One of the most popular parts of the Witcher 3 gaming world was the card game within the title called Gwent. So popular was this, that fans began to ask CD Projekt Red to try and make Gwent a solo title. At the Microsoft Press Conference at E3, they revealed that they are doing so.
Gwent: The Witcher Card Game will feature a full single-played campaign and cross-platform multiplayer. Developer CD Projekt is also redesigning and improving the visuals.
The closed beta will begin on Xbox One and Windows in September. Fans of Gwent can sign up at playgwent.com. There was no announcement on whether the game will be a premium purchase or a free-to-play release with paid card packs.
