Everspace: Teaser Trailer Released
Rockfish Games officially released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming roguelike space shooter, Ever Space. You can check out the new trailer for the game, which was built on Unreal Engine 4, in the player below. The game is due out for a full digital release this month. The trailer presentation features some nice footage in 60FPS slow motion.
Rockfish Games also confirmed this week that the game will have full VR support for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, along with a fully voice-acted story, missions, cinematic flashbacks and cut scenes. The campaign for Everspace also boasts a boss fight that’s staged in a revamped final sector. Other features for the game include procedurally-generated levels and intense space combat action.
It seems the game has come along well after raising money for the game from a 2015 Kickstarter campaign. The developer raised over €670,000 with added contributions from the game’s official website from a total of 17,000 backers. The VR functionality seems like a nice bonus to gamers who can afford the format.
Everspace is set for a May 26 digital launch for Xbox One and the Windows 10 Store. It’s available now for Steam, GOG.com, and NVIDIA GeForce. Rockfish has also announced the game will receive a PlayStation 4 release later this year.
